Although Bridie Carter, who played Tess McLeod in the series, didnât give too much away about whether she would be involved in the reboot, she did tell TV WEEK, âItâs just so interesting to come back all these years later with the way the world has changed.â
âThose characters have changed, and you have their offspring and a whole lot of new characters.â
While speaking to A Current Affair, the showâs producer and writer Joanna Werner revealed that she âcanât wait to find the castâ, meaning viewers will most likely be getting a new-look lineupâbut that doesnât mean that the original cast wonât make an appearance.
The more than 220 episodes of McLeodâs Daughters were released from 2001 until 2009, with the show recently ranking sixth on a list of the 70 best Aussie TV programs of all time.
